Look to nature to reflect our bodies.
See the lines of a tree and how as time passes a new ring begins in this photo.
With each year, new rings are created reflecting what might have happened during that period. For instance, more rain, fire, drought. We want the rings or tissue to be flowing in their normal patterns.
The same in the human body. The tissue which might have been pulled out of alignment can be restored with proper work. Inside that tissue are holding patterns, emotions and imbalances.
Can you see the soft light areas running perpendicular to each ring? This can equate to fascia in the human body.
Fascia keeps organs, for example, in place. It adds the form to the body and is the sleeve that surrounds the structure of the body.
The line crossing the center can represent in the human body, a scar. Sometimes tough, rigid old or new scars interfere with the flow and health of the tissue. And scars always have a superficial and deep aspect to it.
We also want the tissue to flow in a strong and lean pattern as in the second photo; not tough and stringy.
The body is a microcosm of nature which gives us a great example of what goes on inside our bodies!
